Good morning,This week in Kowhai we have been learning how to interpret data from graphs we have made. First we gathered information and noted it in our books. We practised creating a bar graph, poe chart, and tally chart.
When we put the information in to the google sheets we did a quick test to gather a range of numbers. This was put into a sheet in a colomn and we created a scatter graph.

Today we had people from Central Interceptor explaining the new sewage tunnels being built
The Central Interceptor is a tunnel that takes waste water to the Mangere Sewage plant.ย
The tunnel is being drilled by a large drill called Hiwa-i-te-Rangi and itโs 190 meters long the drill faces the height of a giraffe and 4 rhinos.There are specialists running the drill from Italy.
The Central interceptor project will take 5 years to complete. Currently the storm waterย and used water mix and end up in the ocean. The tunnel will be 14.7 KM long and cost 1.2 billion.Researchers are hoping the tunnel will last 100 years. The tunnel uses gravity to take used water from homes and businesses to the sewage plants. water from homes and businesses to the sewage plants.

Cross Country
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.
Well its that time of yearโฆ cross country, so the school had to train for cross country last Friday the school had to walk around the war memorial park.
On Tuesday we had to do some real training, we had to run around the war memorial park two times.
Today was suppose to be cross country but.. it was raining so iโm very happy I donโt have to do it on a Friday afternoon.
